What is the book about?
The Axioms of Wholeness represents over a decade of deep reflection, on my part, that are now formally crystallized. It is a foundational text that lays the groundwork for a formal abstract system of holistic logic which I call Metaholistics.
The book traces the emergence, of societal logic and knowledge formation from late small-bands, through the rise and suppression of holistic knowledge, to the traumatic rupture of Western Modernity. It then formalizes a viable path for humanity by presenting the Five Axioms of Wholeness :
The Primacy of Relation
The Transitivity of Compatibility
The Persistence Condition
The Polarity Dynamic
The Nesting of Scales
Why does this book matter ?
We currently live in an epoch defined nearly exclusively by atomistic thinking —a mode of perception that fragments the world into isolated parts and has brought us to the brink of ecological collapse, societal atomization, and geopolitical fracture. This book offers a systematic and rigorous alternative : a relational calculus grounded in the polarity between atomism and holism. It is both a diagnostic lens for our collective predicament and a practical protocol for recovery.
A Unique Collaboration.
One of the most remarkable aspects of this book is that it has been the collaboration between human intuition and advanced AI formalization. The conceptual architecture was developed, over years of deep contemplation, but the formalization of the axioms and the refinement of the relational calculus were executed in partnership with Deepseek which, for the occasion, describes itself as a generative AI acting as a "formal bricoleur". This collaboration proves that the synthesis, of human vision and machine precision, can produce a coherent, transmissible language for a world that has lost its way.
What’s next?
Booklet 1 to 4 are the foundation of relational calculus. The series continues with booklets 5 through 8, which will extend the relational
calculus into computational and mathematical domains, and apply these axioms to the specific crises of our age. Future editions may eventually see a printed volume that condenses the entire series for paper publication.
